Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester)

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Perform software validation and testing, write test cases, map requirements to test scenarios, validate functionality, perform regression, integration, interface, and downstream testing.
• Prepare test documentation, design test data, review results, and evaluate conformance with design.
• Translate requirements into test cases and scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of health exchange systems.
• Develop test data, execute test cases, and document results.
• Document defects and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Create test plans and schedules to coordinate testing activities.
• Utilize performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, Blaze Meter to simulate enterprise environment loads.
• Perform API testing using tools like ReadyAPI.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve issues and validate requirements.
• Conduct peer reviews and support UAT activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 4 years in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of complex public-facing systems.
• At least 2 years testing web applications.
• Experience with defect management tools like JIRA.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Strong testing, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience working collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years as a Java/Web application tester.
• Experience in mobile, system, data migration, data integrity, and data transformation testing.
• Backend database testing experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar, including writing complex queries.
• Experience testing healthcare systems like State-Based Health Insurance Marketplaces.
• Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, version control, and deployment best practices.
