Job Description

Our client, a leading provider in the food distribution industry, is seeking a Driver Helper I to join their team. As a Driver Helper I, you will be part of the transportation department supporting the delivery of products to ski areas. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work well under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Driver Helper I

Location: Idaho Falls, ID

Pay Range: $18.00- $21.00 DOE

Shift: 2 am to finish

What's the Job?

• Assist in the timely delivery of orders to customers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Load and unload products from trucks and company vehicles, ensuring items are secured to prevent damage.
• Deliver and stack merchandise on customer premises accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in ongoing safety awareness efforts and adhere to preferred work methods.
• Interface with customers and all departments within the organization to ensure satisfaction.

What's Needed?

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong counting skills and ability to keep track of merchandise.
• Physical ability to lift 90 lbs consistently and climb in and out of a trailer throughout the day.
• Willingness to work in both hot and cold environments and overtime as required.
