We are growing!! Freightliner-Western Star of Maine is seeking enthusiastic, organized, and hard-working individuals to join our team. Come and join a winning team that extends from Westbrook to Fort Kent. Our Westbrook location has been serving customers for over 20 years. Looking for someone who can deliver and pick goods to/from local businesses and assist in warehousing. Primarily this position will be used as parts runner. Once trained the right person could move into the warehouse full time.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up customer orders in a timely manner
• Examine and report all parts or materials damaged in shipment
• Correspond with delivery agencies/trucking companies ex. FEDEX, UPS, Trucking Couriers etc.
• Help coordinate loading of parts delivery trucks
• Restock parts and materials as needed
• Fill orders from inventory
• Examine returned goods for credit
• Inspecting, protecting and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building
• Able to participate in physical inventories

Requirements:

• MUST have a good driving record
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
• Reliable transportation or planning for relocation before starting
• Familiar with basic component identification, parts numbers
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
• Ability to write and comprehend information to fellow co-workers and/or customers
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
• Ability to apply common sense understanding in order to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Parts knowledge is helpful

• 10 hour shift
