About the Role:

A well-established general contractor in the DFW area is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of ground-up commercial and mixed-use projects. This role involves full lifecycle management—from preconstruction planning through project closeout—ensuring each project is executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of commercial and mixed-use construction projects
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and on-site operations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams to align project scope and execution strategy
• Interpret and review construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Lead project meetings and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with jobsite safety, permitting, and building codes
• Drive timely and cost-effective project delivery through hands-on leadership

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Demonstrated success leading ground-up commercial or mixed-use projects
• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and construction scheduling tools
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
