Automotive Body Shop Manager

$65,000 - $80,000 a Year

A well-established dealership in the Clarksburg, WV area is seeking a   Body Shop Manager to lead our steady, well-equipped collision center. We’re looking for a high-caliber individual who will grow with us and foster a positive work environment for our employees.

Previous Body Shop management experience in automotive, powersport, RV, or other related fields are required, automotive preferred. Experienced Body Shop Technicians (6+ years) ready to move into management are also encouraged to apply.

• Manage daily operations of the body shop including staffing, scheduling, workflow, and repair quality
• Lead and support a team of technicians, painters, and estimators
• Maintain high standards of safety, repair quality, and efficiency
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines and insurance requirements

Requirements:
 

• Body Shop/ Collision Center Manager experience is required
• Body Shop Technicians with 6+ years of experience will also be considered
• Excellent managerial and communication skills
• Positive attitude, outgoing personality and the ability to build a strong team
• Knowledge of new vehicle repair technologies
• ICAR Certification (preferred)
• Solid understanding of estimating process and system

• Strong knowledge of estimating software such as CCC, Audatex, or similar
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Must pass pre-employment screening
