Company description:

A local company in the Anderson area is looking for a welder to weld industrial racks

Responsibilities:

• Metal rack repair and modifications welding accounts
• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations along with the company's standard and operating procedures.
• Assess condition of racks returned from customer, provides information for repair/modification quote
• reads blueprints and weld assemblies to assure compliance to customer standards
• Enters accurate quantities, material used and time into data collection system.
• sets up equipment and weld parts by hand on automatic MIG welding equipment.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• conduct final inspections of welds and parts making spot repairs to ensure stability
• operated forklift to safely move materials
• requires some travel to customer sites to complete tasks
• performs other duties as assigned

Pay:

• $17-$19 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 6am to 4:30 pm
• Fridays are half days!
