We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney licensed to practice in the state of Maryland to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including complex litigation matters across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in a variety of litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, civil litigation, personal injury, and contractual claims.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research to develop case strategies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Attend and advocate for clients during hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and clients to provide counsel on case developments and legal strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients when appropriate.
  • Stay up to date on changes in Maryland law that may impact cases or clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Admitted to practice law in the state of Maryland and in good standing with the Maryland State Bar.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in general or civil litigation.
  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in eDiscovery tools, e-filing systems, and legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Communication & advocacy: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to persuasively advocate for clients in court.
  • Analytical skills: A detail-oriented and analytical approach to case preparation and problem-solving.
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional cases, federal court procedures, and Maryland’s Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Experience managing a high-volume caseload while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Exposure to specific practice areas, such as labor and employment law, family law, or privacy and data security, is a plus
