Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Yoga Teacher to join our Outdoor East Coast Yoga Studio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yoga instruction, with additional experience in group fitness, pilates, wellness or sports coaching.

This role involves designing and leading engaging yoga classes that promote physical health, mental well-being, and overall fitness. Candidates with expertise in physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design will excel in creating safe and effective sessions for diverse participants.

Duties

• Lead engaging and safe yoga classes tailored to various skill levels and age groups
• Develop customized yoga programs incorporating principles of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics
• Educate participants on proper breathing techniques, posture alignment, and injury prevention
• Monitor participant progress and provide modifications to accommodate individual needs
• Promote a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages continued participation
• Assist with fitness assessments and contribute to overall program development

Qualifications

• Certification in Yoga instruction from an accredited organization
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics relevant to yoga practice
• Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to design effective programs that promote safety and progression for all skill levels
