Job Description

The driver operates the vacuum truck to collect and transport various materials, including waste, sludge, or debris.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate vacuum trucks, including connecting hoses, pipes, and other equipment to collect materials.
• Preparing the job site for operation, ensuring proper cleanup after completion.
• Properly disposing of collected waste in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Handling vacuum lines and unloading equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records of collections and disposals.
• Maintains radio or telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High School graduate which may be substituted with specific work-related experience.

Certificates and/or Licenses

• DOT medical card
• Valid CDL License – Class A or B accepted
• Endorsements: Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
• Clean driving record
