iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Kansas.

Overview : Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a level 1 trauma center. This role supports cardiac surgeries and other procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment, with responsibilities in the Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and Sterile Processing Department (SPD).

Assignment Details :

• Start Date : ASAP
• Duration : 14 weeks
• Hours : 36 hours/week guaranteed, scheduled for 40 hours
• Shift : 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts between 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
• On-Call : Approximately 1 weekend per month
• Holidays : Required to work holidays as needed
• Floating : Required to float between Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD

Requirements :

• Experience :
  • Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center
  • Previous experience scrubbing cardiac surgeries
• License : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certificates : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional : Must comply with nicotine-free campus policy

Client-Specific Details :

• Timekeeping : Kronos system
• Cancellation Policy : Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per month with a minimum of 2 hours’ notice
