Job Description:
ARMStaffing is seeking experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurses (IR RNs) for rewarding travel and local contract opportunities across the country. As an IR RN, you'll play a critical role in supporting diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures that treat a wide range of conditions. This is a high-demand specialty ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist interventional radiologists during procedures such as angiograms, biopsies, embolizations, and catheter placements
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer moderate sedation and manage patient airway as needed
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and patient education
• Document all care in the EMR and maintain compliance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with radiology techs, physicians, and anesthesiologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:
• Active RN license in good standing (state-specific or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; 1+ year in Interventional Radiology or Critical Care preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong IV skills and experience with moderate sedation
• EMR experience (e.g., EPIC, Cerner)
