Job Responsibilities And Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all activities related to the installation, maintenance, coordination, and management of the infrastructure.
• Performing installation activities including operation, maintenance, and sustaining engineering related to cable trays, copper, coax, fiber, and associated elements.
• Ensuring compliance with ANSI/TIA/EIA standards and upholding industry best practices.
• Providing infrastructure maintenance and clean-up for all Telecommunications Rooms at designated locations.
• Conducting on-site surveys, developing maintenance plans, and ensuring adherence to standards.
• Using Government-approved ticketing system to track and provide completion status for all installs, surveys, moves, adds, and changes.
• Performing QA before equipment/installation is released for customer connectivity.
• Maintaining detailed configuration "as-built" drawings supporting survey findings.
• Providing support to break-fix support personnel for emergency and non-emergency incidents and ensuring timely restoration.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in the field of network engineering or a related area.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security + CE, Computing Environment Certification (one of the following): Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance
