Tatum by Randstad is seeking a Trade Finance Specialist to support and enhance our client's global trade operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of trade finance transactions, driving customer satisfaction, and serving as a subject matter expert in areas including credit finance, supply chain finance, and international business. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

In this role, you will:

• Provide support in the processing and delivery of a broad range of Trade Finance products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Perform end-to-end handling of trade instruments including issuing, advising, and amending letters of credit, processing documentary and direct collections, and negotiating trade documentation in alignment with internal standards and international regulations (e.g., UCP 600, ISP98).
• Utilize experience in credit finance to assess trade-related credit exposures and collaborate with risk and relationship managers to support secure financing solutions.
• Apply knowledge of supply chain finance and working capital optimization strategies to support client needs across complex global supply chains.
• Serve as a point of contact for escalations and decision-making support, exercising independent judgment while aligning with company policies.
• Collaborate across internal departments (e.g., Compliance, Treasury, Operations) and external counterparties to resolve issues and drive results.
• Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities by understanding client needs and recommending suitable Trade or Supply Chain Finance products.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending changes to existing processes and policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, International Trade, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Trade Services, Trade Finance, or International Banking, or an equivalent combination of education, military, and professional experience.
• Experience in handling letters of credit, collections, and other trade-related instruments.
• Understanding of credit risk, international payment methods, foreign exchange, and logistics processes related to cross-border trade.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms, UCP, ISP, and other international trade rules and practices.
• Experience coordinating with global clients and managing the financial flows associated with international supply chains.
