Our client, a respected and privately held engineering firm based in Irvine, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their expanding team. While the firm prefers to remain confidential at this stage, they are recognized for their technical excellence, forward-thinking design approach, and long-standing partnerships across Southern California.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-impact projects; from large-scale commercial developments and mixed-use structures to seismic retrofits and public infrastructure. • Lead structural design and analysis for a variety of building types and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide construction-phase support.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with California building codes, seismic standards, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Active PE license in California (SE license preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural design and project leadership.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or similar.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
