Job Description

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students within a school setting in Grady, NM. This role requires providing both direct and indirect speech services as outlined in students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) across one or multiple school sites. The position is onsite only, with no virtual option, and guaranteed scheduled hours throughout the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services according to students IEPs.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents, especially during high-stress or crisis situations.
• Travel between school buildings during the day as needed to serve multiple locations.
• Maintain compliance with certification and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Speech Communications or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an SLPA program.
• Active SLPA certification.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple service locations.
• Commitment to onsite service delivery.
