Job Description As a Security Professional - Hospital Setting - Weekend Shift in Southport, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those in need. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Responsibilities: Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence. Support emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols for healthcare environments. Minimum Requirements: North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
