Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds in Baltimore, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those on site. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Tue 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Wed 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Thur 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Fri 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions. Maintain awareness of the environment and report any security-related concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare location. Document and communicate any incidents or observations according to site protocols. Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
