Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel. Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries as needed. Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits. Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
