Scrum Master – Full-Time

Location: Cincinnati, OH - hybrid available but must be local
Salary: Competitive + Benefits (Generally $110K - $180K based on experience)

Vaco is seeking experienced Scrum Masters (mid level to senior level) to join dynamic Agile teams across multiple industries. If you are passionate about enabling collaboration, removing roadblocks, and driving continuous improvement — we want to talk to you. We have several clients with openings - both contract and permanent.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

• Partner with Product Owners to ensure well-defined backlogs and clear priorities

• Support development teams by identifying and removing impediments to progress

• Promote Agile principles and coach teams on best practices

• Track and report team metrics related to delivery, quality, and velocity

• Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and empowerment

• Coordinate cross-team dependencies to maintain alignment on deliverables

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)

• Experience coaching teams and facilitating process improvements

• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills

• Background in software development or IT delivery preferred

Preferred Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent
