School Social Worker (FMLA Coverage – Full-Time)

-Location: St. Charles, IL – Elementary School (K–5th Grade)
-Dates: ASAP – December 5th, 2025
-Schedule: 8:25 AM – 3:45 PM | Onsite | 35 hours per week
-Compensation: $47 – $60 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time School Social Worker to provide FMLA coverage at a St. Charles elementary school. This role offers the opportunity to support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs in both individual and group settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social work services to students on your caseload (~25 students)

• Support students’ social-emotional development and crisis intervention

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff

• Assist with IEP meetings and documentation as needed

Qualifications

• Valid PEL for School Social Work

• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
