Salesforce Service Cloud Developer (PART-TIME) Job Title: Salesforce Service Cloud Developer Location: REMOTE but preference to someone based in TX Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours a week) Compensation: $45/hr - $50/hr Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Service Cloud Developer to join our team and support a critical implementation project. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Salesforce development, particularly with the Service Cloud platform, and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize solutions tailored to business needs. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for the Salesforce Service Cloud implementation. Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, triggers, Lightning components, and Apex classes. Implement and optimize Salesforce Service Cloud features, such as Case Management, Omni-Channel Routing, Knowledge Base, Service Console, and Field Service. Integrate Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools. Ensure data quality and security, including implementing data validation, deduplication, and access controls. Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve issues promptly. Deliver detailed technical documentation and training materials to support end-users and internal teams. Stay updated on Salesforce platform releases and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and functionality. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with at least 3 years of experience working on Service Cloud projects. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development tools. Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud capabilities, including Case Management, Omni-Channel, and Knowledge Base. Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs. Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Service Cloud Consultant are highly preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Salesforce Field Service implementation. Knowledge of agile development methodologies. Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, Copado, or Gearset for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
