Responsible for managing psychotropic medications for the clients of RHA. Duties include initial Psychiatric Evaluation of client and subsequent follow up visits for medication evaluation and management. Responsibilities: Psychiatric Evaluations, Medications Management for children and/or adolescents, Participate in regulated supervision, Consult with Staff. Requires a certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant and experience working with the population supported. Relies on experience, knowledge, and judgment to provide services with limited supervision and direction. Education and/or Experience: Must be licensed Psychiatric Nurse, Must be certified at the national level by American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse Practitioner, Be familiar with standards of practice for position and regulations, Preferred 3 years experience working in behavioral health care. Required training: Valid driver’s license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage. Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal background, Name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), Drug testing, Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements, Proof of employment history or references (if required), Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
