We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. At this time the hours are weeknights M-F (6PM-9PM) and alternate Weekends ( Sat - Sun 10AM-2PM). This role is remote and involves providing comprehensive mental health care to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management and maintaining accurate medical records. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including؛ history taking, mental status examination, and diagnostic formulation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

Experience

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) licenses in West Virginia
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• At least 1 year of experience as a PMHNP (or relevant experience as a psychiatric RN).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
