** Must be located in Miami area and willing to go onsite 5 days per week**

Role: Production Manager

Openings: 1

Duration: PERM

Location: Kendall, Florida - just south of Miami

Salary : $90,000-100k

Must-Haves

• 5+ years in production management or manufacturing (preferred?)
• Strong understanding of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice)

Plusses

• Experience conducting GEMBA walks
• Familiarity with 5S compliance
• Experience with KPIs, CAPA, SOPs, and validation protocols
• Ability to theorize and implement manufacturing scale-up
• Experience with inspection readiness and risk mitigation
• Bachelor's degree

Day-to-Day

Leadership & Team Management

• Align manufacturing decisions with leadership vision
• Hire, mentor, and develop staff
• Appraise performance and manage rewards
• Build high-performing, cross-functional teams
• Maintain positive work environment and discipline

Supervision

• Reports to: VP of Manufacturing & Technical Services
• Supervises:
• 2 Production Supervisors
• 1 Technical Supervisor
• 1 Production Project Coordinator & Trainer
• 1 Production Assistant

Operations & Planning

• Plan and prioritize budgets, resources, and schedules
• Direct production floor operations
• Allocate labor and capital to maximize productivity
• Manage production line maintenance and downtime

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure training and compliance with safety, quality, and cGMP
• Promote safety behaviors and maintain clean production areas
• Support safety culture for employees and customers

Continuous Improvement

• Drive right first time culture
• Analyze records to improve performance
• Encourage creative process improvements
• Track and report KPIs

Documentation & Quality

• Review and approve SOPs, batch records, specs, and validation reports
• Support deviations, CAPA, change controls, and process transfers

Collaboration

• Work closely with warehouse, quality, and supply chain teams
• Champion communication across departments

Other

• Conduct regular GEMBA walks

Working Conditions

• Indoors on manufacturing floor
• Hazards: chemicals, electricity, compressed air, hydraulic hoses, slippery floors

Physical Demands

• Lifting up to 40 lbs
• Standing ~80% of the time
