Process Engineer - Orlando, FL or Winchester, KY

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Process Engineer to join its team. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role will focus on identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency within the Winchester facility.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead manufacturing control strategies to drive plant performance and efficiency ● Utilize Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), and other continuous improvement tools to reduce scrap and increase productivity
● Conduct process audits and develop actionable improvement plans; oversee implementation and follow-up
● Prepare and manage capital project proposals, including cost justification and execution
● Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams to resolve process-related issues and improve operational reliability
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
● Strong communication and analytical skills
● Demonstrated experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment; plastics industry experience preferred
● Solid business acumen with the ability to apply technical knowledge to practical production challenges
