Physician Assistant - Inpatient Medicine-Psych
The Department of Psychiatry is proud to re-open a new state-of-the-art 24-bed inpatient psychiatry unit featuring four higher acuity med-psych bed. PAs will provide 24 hour coverage and team up with our psychiatrists and psych NP to meet both the psychiatric and medical needs of admitted patients. PAs will round with the psychiatry team managing all aspects of inpatient care including daily documentation, placing orders, addressing consults, preparing discharges, and responding to acute psychiatric emergencies on the unit.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
