Key Responsibilities Generate volume and market share growth for assigned pharmaceutical products within a specific geographic area. Sell presentations to physicians and healthcare professionals, primarily in an office-based setting. Develop an understanding of the issues and opportunities unique to the geography, especially in managed health care. Manage resources (samples, promotional and educational materials) to maximize return within regulatory and ethical guidelines. Maintain accountability for pharmaceutical samples in accordance with FDA and PDMA guidelines. Utilize sales automation systems to document calls and activities. Complete initial and ongoing product and development training as required. Qualifications Basic: BA/BS required. Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of B2B outside sales experience with impact, and 1-2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with impact. Established relationships within the targeted geography. Mandarin speaking skills are preferred. Key Competencies Persuasiveness and effective interpersonal communication. Ability to establish account plans based on customer needs and monitor progress. Self-starter with high performance standards. Proactive influence and resource utilization skills. Ability to adapt to varying environments and audiences.
