The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) is seeking a ninth physician to join their faculty. Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent and be Board Eligible / Board Certified in Pediatric Infectious Disease.

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Position Details:

1. Our Division includes 8 academic clinicians and 2 advanced practice providers with established programs in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, telemedicine, and global health.
2. Current areas of research include congenital/neonatal infections, respiratory viral infections, tuberculosis and antimicrobial stewardship.
3. Our Pediatric Research Network conducts multiple vaccine trials.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Clinical care in inpatient and ambulatory settings
2. Education of residents and medical students
3. Leadership opportunities within the hospital’s infection prevention and transplant infectious disease programs are available for qualified candidates with an interest in these fields.
