Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bench Jeweler to join our team 2–3 days per week. This position will be hands-on in all aspects of jewelry production and repair, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and efficiency. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and passionate about their craft. Over time, this role has the potential to evolve into a full-time position as our business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general bench work including casting clean-up, job preparation, assembly, soldering, polishing, and basic stone setting polishing, and machine engraving.
  • Conduct jewelry repairs such as resizing, chain repairs, prong re-tipping, and refinishing
  • Assist in production of custom and collection pieces from CAD models or pre-fabricated components.
  • Ensure the quality and craftsmanship of each piece meets studio standards, while contributing to a collaborative and detail-driven environment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace with careful attention to tools and materials
  • Work collaboratively with designers and our Master Jeweler to ensure each piece meets our quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years bench experience (fine jewelry experience preferred)
  • Proficient in soldering, assembly, polishing, and basic stone setting
  • Experience with repairs and refurbishing of vintage or heirloom jewelry a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a small, collaborative studio environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with gemstone identification
  • Experience with engraving techniques and laser welding is a plus.

Schedule & Growth Potential:

  • Starting at 2–3 days per week with flexible scheduling including some nights and weekends for event support.
  • Opportunity to expand to a full-time role within 12–24 months, based on performance and business needs
