Staff Today is seeking a local contract nurse RN Correctional ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Amsterdam, New York.

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a ER Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Amsterdam , NY. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $68 / hour

*W2

Shifts Available:

• 7p-7:30a- 36hours or 48hours Every other weekend Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a ER Registered Nurse
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
• Must have up to date certification in the state of NY

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients quickly upon arrival
• Triage patients based on severity of condition
• Provide immediate emergency care (wound care, CPR, IV insertion, medications, etc.)
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions
• Assist doctors during emergency procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document patient information and care provided
• Communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Prepare patients for tests, imaging, or transfer
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready and functional
