Nurse Intern positions are designed specifically for students currently enrolled in a Registered Nursing Program. Nurse Apprentice positions are available with all BayCare hospitals. You will find a posting for each Tampa Bay area county or region.

The **Nurse Intern** is a member of the health care team who performs direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of an RN.
**The Nurse Intern:**
· Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
· Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.
· Must submit BayCare Nurse Intern Portfolio to validate nursing education and skills within 30 days.
**Position Requires:**
· Successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals in a current Registered Nursing Program
· High School Diploma or GED
· Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
· Ability to work flexible hours is a plus!
