Job Title: Motor Mechanic/Prepper $19-21/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production/Parts Prepper who will start by cleaning and preparing parts and eventually train for disassembly and assembly of small motors, as well as repairing and troubleshooting them.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare parts for assembly.
• Use hand tools and some power tools effectively.
• Safely lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs.
• Examine parts for cracks, wear, rubbing, or deviations from specific parameters.
• Measure and record machined parts fits.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience as a Mechanical Assembler.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge in electric motor mechanics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical experience, which provides a good opportunity for advancement to a motor mechanic/assembly position.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled facility on the 1st shift, from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. Be prepared for a hands-on role in a dynamic and collaborative team setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
