Job Description
Medical Assistant (Pediatric)
Land O Lakes, FL | $15-17/hr.
Responsibilities
Room patients (vitals, documentation, immunizations)
Verify demographics/insurance, prepare EMR charts
Handle multi-line phones, schedule/referral coordination
Enter vaccine data into Florida SHOTS registry
Process payments, post charges, manage supplies, filing/mail
Support providers and uphold HIPAA confidentiality
Required
Active CMA or RMA
≥ 1 yr medical-office experience; pediatric experience for $16/hr
Proficient with EMR systems and Florida SHOTS registry
Competent in venipuncture and basic clinical procedures
Excellent communication, organization & multitasking
Professional appearance: clean, well-fitting scrubs and non-slip shoes required; no excessive piercings or unnatural hair colors
Preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
CPR/BLS certification
