About the role Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairing, adjusting, and/or maintaining industrial production and processing machinery in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This position performs basic troubleshooting and repairs with direction and oversight.
Desirable shift schedules! 12-hour workdays on 3rd shift (6:55 pm - 7 am). We work 2-3-2 rotation. Responsibilities \n - Supports a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures.
\n - Supports a quality work environment by following appropriate policies and procedures.
\n - Completes weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance duties on Operations machinery, equipment, and tooling per preventive maintenance (PM) procedures and as assigned
\n - Documents required repairs and maintenance tasks.
\n - Observes gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly.
\n - Inspects equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
\n - Repairs, cleans, lubricates, or adjusts machinery to optimally maintain the equipment.
\n - Disassembles, repairs, or replaces malfunctioning/broken machinery or equipment components.
\n - Reassembles equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repair.
\n - Examines parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakage.
\n - Cleans work areas using basic cleaning materials.

Qualifications \n - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance
\n - Must possess a high level of knowledge of machine and tooling maintenance requirements
\n - Must have the ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery, tooling and equipment
\n - Must have the ability to run basic machine shop equipment
\n - Must have the ability to accurately use calipers, dial indicators and micrometers
\n - Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Products and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Mgmt. System)
\n - Efficiently manages time and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and goals.
\n - Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
\n - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholders
\n - Builds strong relationships with others, fostering a supportive and engaged workplace.
\n - Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Education & Experience \n - High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate degree in technical field preferred
\n - Minimum of one (1) year related experience or one (1) year technical training
\n - Training in maintenance/repair of mechanical equipment and machinery a plus
\n - Training in industrial electrical repair and maintenance a plus
\n
\n
Work Environment/Physical Demands: \n - This position requires 20% clerical and planning and 80% material handling, production assembly machine operations, and/or walking and assisting production employees
\n - Work is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor where noise levels may be moderate or high and hearing protection may have to be worn
\n - Eye and foot protection may have to be worn
\n - There is potential for lifting weights up to 30 pounds may occur regularly, with a potential for lifting weights of up to 45 pounds on an occasional basis
\n - There is potential exposure to extreme temperatures
\n - The occasional physical demands of the position include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and eye/hand/foot coordination
\n - May stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
\n
