Join to apply for the Level I Rope Access Technician role at TEAM, Inc. The Rope Access – NDE Technician is responsible for carrying out standard rope access operations under the direct supervision of an authorized Level 3 rope access supervisor. The technician will use Industrial Rope Access methods and related equipment to access and complete a wide variety of inspection, maintenance, and other industrial work tasks while on ropes or in difficult access areas. Responsibilities may also include rescue operations, technical reports, and administrative tasks. Work hours, locations, shifts, and the nature of work assignments vary greatly, and travel may be required. Essential Job Functions Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices, and alerting others to potential hazards. Performs duties as assigned, adhering to TEAM’s Core Values and 7 Critical Choices. Utilizes proper personal protective equipment. Follows instructions from Rope Access Supervisor or Lead Technician. Displays a healthy respect for heights and follows all OSHA and safety procedures. Understands work permits and participates in job hazard analyses. Participates in required training and maintains a working understanding of rope access safety practices. Inspects and verifies rope access systems and components before use. Recognizes hazards and notifies supervisor of unsafe conditions. Maintains proficiency in rescue techniques and assists in rescues as directed. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 18 years of age IRATA certification NDT/NDE Certification preferred Travel required Ability to work at heights Work Conditions Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Interaction with crew, supervisors, and clients Work around production machinery with high noise levels Must wear safety equipment Potential travel and multiple job sites in a day Physical and Mental Requirements Lift and carry 75 pounds Perform physical activities like climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping Work at heights exceeding 100 ft. Extended hours and standing Work in extreme temperatures and industrial hazards Effective communication skills Maintain focus and multitask Anticipated compensation is $52,000.00 – $60,320.00 per year plus benefits.
