Salary Range: $90k-$150k

ABOUT THE ROLES

We are expanding our Integration & Migration Consulting Team and hiring Java Developers and PLM Consultants at multiple levels - from college graduates ( eager to learn ) to seasoned solution architects (ready to lead).

You will work on high-impact projects that connect leading engineering platforms for PLM / ALM / ERP systems (like Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, Jama, Doors, Cameo, SAP etc ) and CAD applications (like Catia, NX, Creo etc) - integrating product data across design, engineering, and manufacturing.

YOUR PATH TO SUCCESS AT PROSTEP

Entry-Level

• Java Developer / PLM Integration Consultant
• Build and support software integrations and migrations, learning from senior mentors.

Mid-Level

• Senior Java + PLM Consultant
• Lead small teams, design and implement customer solutions, interface directly with global clients.

Senior-Level

• PLM Solution Architect / Lead Consultant
• Architect enterprise-scale PLM ecosystems, guide multiple projects, and serve as a trusted advisor.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT PROSTEP

• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based PLM integration and migration solutions .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Analyze, map, and transform complex engineering data models.
• Automate data movement and system connectivity using PROSTEP’s cutting edge proprietary tools .
• Present technical solutions to clients and lead implementations.
• Mentor junior developers or lead solution design efforts (for senior roles).

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

We hire people who love to learn, build, and solve complex problems . You will stand out if you have:

• Experience (or strong foundational knowledge) in Java / Java EE development .
• Understanding of REST APIs , object-oriented design , and data structures .
• Familiarity with tools like Eclipse , IntelliJ, Git , Maven , Jenkins , and Tomcat .
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity about how complex systems integrate and interact.
• Oracle Certified Java Developer (Certified or willingness to get certified)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MID LEVEL and SENIOR ROLES:

• Hands-on experience or familiarity with one or more PLM / ALM/ ERP systems.
• Background in system integration, architecture, API development, or CAD/PLM customization.
• 7–10+ years of professional experience (for senior-level applicants).
