Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire experienced Industrial Electricians, Electrician Apprentices and ElectricianHelpers for the Pascagoula, Mississippi area. The Electricians will need to have a current TWIC Card. The Apprentices and Helpers do not require a TWIC initially but will need one eventually down the line once they start working. This is for a 4 year project - demo work phase and new construction of a facility afterwards. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday working day shifts and the project will be starting around September 8th. Will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Weekly pay by direct deposit.

Electrician pay is $28 - $33/hr. depending on experience

Apprentices and Helpers $16 - $18/hr. depending on experience. Need to have some experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid).

No per diem is offered.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• Bend and install conduit.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Requirements:

• Electricians will need to have a current TWIC Card to start. Apprentices and Helpers can start without a current TWIC but will eventually need one down the line.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• At least 2 years of Industrial Electrician experience is required including bending conduit and at least 1 year of electrical experience for the Apprentices and Helpers also including bending conduit.
• Need to have basic hand tools, all PPE and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the US.
