We are looking for a new Inbound and Inventory Control Manager to join our growing Inbound Team and Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report into our Assistant General Manager. Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt
\n
Location: 196,000 sq ft. in Reno, NV
\n
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. PST with flexibility
\n
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
\n - Oversee all processes and procedures for Inbound operations including Receiving, Inventory Control, and Logistics
\n - Identify and develop key performance standards and metrics to drive desired culture and work to ensure their achievement
\n - Evaluate inefficiencies and propose strategies to increase throughput while reducing labor costs
\n - Oversee inventory audits to ensure alignment with quarterly targets
\n - Develop and standardize processes to improve inventory accuracy and minimize inventory shrinkage
\n - Establish inventory optimization techniques while implementing processes for obsolete inventory
\n - Develop processes to incorporate inventory consolidation and replenishment functions to optimize locations and increase warehouse capacity
\n - Identify and propose process improvement initiatives to company leadership for FC standardization and execution
\n - Be the main point of contact for Buying or Accounting related issues pertaining to item disposition or PO discrepancies
\n - Deliver performance reviews and conducting monthly check-ins with each member of the inbound leadership team to establish rapport and provide feedback
\n - Address performance related incidents that arise and recommend a course of action on all disciplinary and personnel issues
\n - Train and develop Team Leads and associates through coaching, mentoring, and effective communication to develop a strong culture of employee engagement
\n - Attend and participate in the HR Leadership meetings twice a month
\n - Create and promote a safe working environment for all employees while developing a safety culture in which an employee feels safe and comfortable in their areas of responsibility

Requirements:
\n
\n - Understanding of distribution flow, integration, and automation
\n - Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to see the “big picture” and identify/forecast developing issues
\n - Continuous improvement experience
\n - Experience managing exempt employees
\n - Strong verbal and written communication, including public presentation, and interpersonal skills
\n - Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
\n - Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently\n
\n - Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds
\n
\n \n - Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per day
\n
\n
Preferred Qualifications:
\n
\n - At least 2 yrs. experience working with automated systems (RF technology, WMS, conveyor, and sortation).
\n - At least 1 year of Lean experience in a manufacturing or Logistics environment
\n - Experience with performance metric and process improvement
\n - Strong financial and data acumen; ability to analyze and utilize to drive results
\n - Analysis of inventory problems, collaboration with other departments and problem resolutions
\n
