We are a tuition-free, WASC-accredited (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) public charter school that provides a rigorous standards-based education to Home School students (TK-8), Online Middle School students (7 & 8), and Independent Study High School students (9-12), including our University Prep Early College High School program serving 7,500 students across our nine-county service area, making us one of the largest and most stable charter schools in the Sacramento Valley region.
Job Summary Visions In Education is growing, and we're excited to expand our Human Resources team! We're looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join us in serving our employees and programs.
The Human Resources Assistant will assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the Human Resources Department including interpretation of policies and procedures, data gathering, report preparation, employer-employee relations, and supporting the applicant hiring process. A two year college degree with an emphasis in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field is preferred. A minimum of four years of experience in complex clerical work in human resources or closely related fields is required. Candidates with charter school or school experience are highly desired.
QCC/QSS, Google Workspace (Suite), FMLA/CFRA, and HRIS/Data Management experience is a plus.
In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days at our office in Gold River, CA and 2 days remotely. However, this will not begin until the employee is fully trained. Depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change.

Classified employees are eligible for educational reimbursement up to $15,000 (this benefit is provided so an employee can maintain and improve job-related skills for the employee's current position or enhance the employee's ability to qualify for other reasonably attainable jobs within Visions).
