About the Role 

We are seeking an FSQA Lead to join our team at our Swedesboro bakery. As an FSQA Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, legality, and quality of our products by overseeing QA technicians, coordinating food safety activities, and ensuring our quality programs are consistently executed on the floor.

Shift & Schedule

1st Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Weekend availability: Required 

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $26 per hour

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Lead daily FSQA and food safety execution to ensure product safety, legality, and quality
• Oversee QA technicians on shift and ensure tools, specifications, and documentation are issued accurately and on time
• Conduct and validate GMP, glass/plastic, and other required audits to ensure compliance
• Perform and verify finished product quality checks, including dimensional and attribute evaluations
• Coordinate ingredient, packaging, and bag inspections to ensure proper compliance and release
• Support investigations (foreign material, line cleaning verification, non-conformances) and escalate findings appropriately
• Train and mentor new QA technicians, supporting problem solving with production teams

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of relevant FSQA or food safety experience in an automated food manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
• Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and data entry
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform floor-based tasks in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Experience leading or mentoring others in a production or FSQA environment
• Knowledge of bakery or CPG manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and basic food safety programs
• Experience with problem solving and root cause analysis tools
