Event Manager (Contract & Remote)

We’re hiring an experienced Event Manager to manage two major conferences (600+ attendees) for a fast-paced, global tech company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage two large-scale conferences (U.S. and international).
• Coordinate across internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Oversee logistics.
• Manage project timelines, communications, and contingency planning.
• Deliver post-event analysis with recommendations.

Details:

• Contract through November , with potential to extend or convert.
• Remote OK , but preference for those near Atlanta or Austin for occasional in-office collaboration.
• Open to full-time or part-time (20+ hours/week) .
• Travel: ~15–30%.

Requirements:

• 4+ years managing large events (500+ attendees, multiple tracks, expo floors).
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage budgets.
• Proficient in MS Office and event planning tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
