Job Title: Electrician Helper
Job Description

Join a dynamic team with multiple opportunities across various job sites. The initial project will be at the UVA Hotel & Conference Center in Charlottesville, VA, with work hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, though hours may vary. Upon completion, you may transition to projects at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. This role offers significant growth prospects in a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with the installation of electrical systems, fixtures, and components.
• Pull wire, cut conduit, and prepare materials for job site use.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure a clean work area.
• Load and unload supplies and materials.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Support the team with general labor and task completion as needed.

• Experience with electrical, conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient in installation and pulling wire.
• Skilled in conduit bending and running conduit.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and industrial systems.

• Strong people skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude and being punctual.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
