This position balances ecommerce marketing and operations acumen and will play a critical role in the success of high-profile official stores for artist and entertainment brands. Responsibilities include managing the official direct-to-consumer online store for 15-20 artist and entertainment brands; building, maintaining and merchandising stores on the Shopify platform using eCommerce best practices such as SEO, encouraging conversions, creative promotions, pricing trends, product rotation and positioning; developing a yearly plan for stores considering key consumer holidays, seasonality, album cycles, and touring activity; working proactively with internal teams to identify and merchandise new offerings from Licensees, Tour and Wholesale divisions; liaising with internal and artist teams to recommend and develop DTC-exclusive merchandise offerings; collaborating with the marketing team to develop acquisition programs and execute marketing campaigns and promotions across owned and partner lists and properties; maintaining regular communication with client teams to provide store optimization suggestions and performance updates; liaising with partner warehouses to ensure accurate and timely receiving of goods and assisting with customer service as needed; managing store inventory and purchase requests for new and existing product replenishment; and working with international partners to develop and maintain x-US online stores. Qualifications include 3+ years of ecommerce experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities, ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude, preferred experience in music, entertainment and/or retail industries, self-motivation and detail orientation, understanding of the “fan” mentality as it applies to marketing opportunities, product development, and customer service, and experience with HTML, CSS, Liquid is a plus but not required.
