We are seeking a driven and experienced Director of Quality to lead all quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within a highly regulated aerospace services environment. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing quality standards, policies, and procedures that align with national and international regulations, while ensuring excellence and consistency across all areas of the organization.

As a senior leadership role, the Director of Quality will collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to ensure compliance, streamline operations, and cultivate a culture of quality. This individual will act as the key liaison with regulatory bodies and ensure adherence to all required industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all quality assurance functions to ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with federal agencies, including the FAA, to meet all requirements and maintain certification standards.
• Establish and refine quality metrics, procedures, and inspection protocols that support continuous improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues effectively.
• Design and implement training programs to promote a quality-first culture across the organization.
• Manage, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the quality assurance team.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and product teams to incorporate quality best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate and timely generation of quality documentation, reporting, and audit materials.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging regulations, and evolving best practices in quality management.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading Quality Assurance and Control in a regulated manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Deep knowledge of FAA regulations, EASA standards, and quality management systems (QMS).
• Demonstrated success managing quality audits and maintaining compliance with international regulatory standards.
• Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in quality assurance tools, methods, and reporting software.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, with ongoing training in quality engineering and auditing.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications like ASQ, Six Sigma preferred).
