BASIC PURPOSE:

The Director of Business Development is responsible for building a sustainable pipeline of new and expanding opportunities with clients seeking Contingent staffing services. This senior, customer-facing role involves engaging with C-suite executives of hospital systems and internal team leaders. The Director will drive growth through RFP participation, introducing our services to existing clients, and direct engagement with buyers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Grow the Search business client portfolio in revenue and profitability.
  2. Develop presentation materials and pitch decks for internal use.
  3. Create digital marketing content such as thought leadership pieces, case studies, and reference materials.
  4. Collaborate with finance on pricing and profitability models.
  5. Work with Delivery leaders to model team and resource strategies for new engagements.
  6. Evaluate channel partnerships with PE firms, consulting firms, and GPOs.
  7. Negotiate contracts aligning customer expectations with company objectives.
  8. Implement change management processes and review systems to monitor progress.
  9. Drive profitable growth by increasing top-line revenue, gross margin, and contribution income within the workforce solutions division.
  10. Develop performance metrics to measure the success of company initiatives.
  11. Align division goals with overall company goals to maximize growth, profitability, and ROI on product development.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in workforce solutions.
  • Experience in sales forecasting and process control.
  • Excellent communication skills to work harmoniously with internal and external clients.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making based on integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
