Responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used cars. Cleans interior and exterior of vehicles. Waxes and buffs exterior of vehicles. Vacuums and cleans vehicle upholstery. Cleans engine. Paints engine. Applies touch-up paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle. Maintains CSI at or above Company standards. Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area. Participates in required training. Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system. Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values. Complies with Company policies and procedures. Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications include ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, previous detailing experience desired, ability to operate equipment to perform detailing functions, valid driver’s license, basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system, ability to understand and follow instructions, ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. Position requires regular and predictable attendance including possible evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities. Work environment includes exposure to wet and outdoor weather conditions, frequent movement in and out of cars, contact with vehicle cleaning and painting products, and limited interaction with customers.
