What you'll be doing: Hardware installation & configuration of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure. Rack installation including racking of components , putting racks in place, cabling, power up and handoff of servers to internal provisioning teams. Rack deinstallation including power off, removal of cabling, removal of rack components. Hardware Break/Fix replacement of FRUs Troubleshooting and resolve Telco Connectivity issues Troubleshoot & Replace Network Switch equipment You will communicate within a ticketing environment that is used and supervised by multiple internal Oracle Cloud service owners and teams. Documentation of activities and build/modify SOPs Structured cabling, labeling, and troubleshooting of fiber/copper/telecom cables. You should be able to execute small projects on your own and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects. Requirements: Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware. Strong interest in learning new DC concepts. Strong verbal and written communication skills Strict attention to detail Quality assurance Shift schedule may include weekends and holidays. 3+ years working in an IT environment. Inventory management experience. Ordering, receiving, and shipping server parts. Experience taking on-call shifts and ability to respond to critical events as needed. Experience raising issues to senior onsite staff and management as needed.
