Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic team in Austintown, OH. This position is Monday through Thursday on an off shift schedule. We offer a flexible start time from 3pm to 9pm, 10 hour shifts.

If you have a passion for precision machining and a knack for operating CNC milling machines, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components while ensuring safety and efficiency in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Properly utilize measuring tools such as a tape measure, micrometer, vernier or caliper.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and complex blueprints.
• Ability to hold tolerances to .001”.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and quality control standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas)
• Overhead Crane
• CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak)
• Calipers and Micrometers

Salary info:

$22 - $27 / hr
