About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Impact Officer (CIO) to join its senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving the organization's programmatic vision and strategic direction. The CIO will be responsible for overseeing all mission-related initiatives, including training, grantmaking, research, and network engagement, with a strong focus on innovation, evaluation, and organizational learning. This role involves leading a large team of professionals, ensuring the achievement of the organization's desired impact, and managing strategic partnerships to strengthen the field. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and inspiring leader with exceptional supervisory and management skills, a proven track record in strategic planning, and a results-driven approach to problem-solving and program design. Key responsibilities for the CIO include serving as a thought partner to the CEO, championing programmatic innovation, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic plan. The successful candidate will also be involved in fundraising, building strong relationships with funders and stakeholders, and will have a strong board-facing experience. A deep understanding of Jewish values, culture, and community life is strongly preferred, as the CIO will be expected to represent the organization with knowledge, passion, and integrity. The role requires a leader who can effectively communicate the organization's vision, inspire teams, and engage diverse audiences, both internally and externally.
