CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Amiran has an opening for its Chief Executive Officer position, providing oversight and management of the daily operations of the 50+ employee Authority. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensuring good stewardship of public funds & assure continuous funding through current partners as well as new sources; Provide services that are reliable, safe, convenient, clean, comfortable, & affordable; Achieving high morale & job satisfaction in terms of compensation, working conditions, training, safety & security, policies & procedures, labor/management cooperation; Maintaining & updating equipment, facilities, & technology to provide customer benefits & service efficiencies; Becoming an| important partner in regional economic development. Candidate must have knowledge of transportation systems management, state & federal laws pertaining to Authority activities, grants management, marketing, government relations, public administration, and labor/ management relations. Candidate must also be able to provide leadership to management & staff, communicate effectively verbally/in writing, & partner with staff, Board of Directors, customers, the public, & elected officials. Bachelor's degree in transportation, business management, public administration, or related area required.
